Public Hearing Rescheduled to 22nd October 2014

The Competition and Fair Trading Commission wishes to inform the general public that the Public Hearing that was scheduled to take place on 17th October 2014 has now been shifted to Wednesday 22 October 2014. The Venue remains the same – Mpikisano House in Lilongwe.

The Public Hearing will be held pursuant to Section 10(2) and Section 11 of the Competition and Fair Trading Act and will start at 0900hrs.

The objective of the Public Hearing is to provide an opportunity to the Insurance Association of Malawi (IAM) and other interested parties to orally make submissions to members of the Competition and Fair Trading Commission on allegations of price fixing levelled against the Insurance Association of Malawi.
